Business owner and policy thought leader, Chris knows how to combine forward-thinking planning, diverse perspectives, and service excellence to move ideas and communities forward.  

Chris has served in every senior City Council leadership role in Dublin Ohio including Mayor and Vice Mayor and she chaired the Planning and Zoning Commission for six years. Chris currently serves regionally as chair of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and nationally as a member of the Information Technology and Communications Federal Advocacy Committee of the National League of Cities. 

As partner in the family’s horticultural business, Chris built one of the leading horticultural companies in Central Ohio by consistently delivering the highest level of service in the region. It is this unwavering commitment to excellence and problem solving that continues to guide Chris' work with her clients and her consulting engagements.

Chris holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Horticulture and Agricultural Business from The Ohio State University.  

When not volunteering, Chris can be found on the golf course or in her garden, on an early morning five-mile walk, or traveling the country with her husband Kevin and sons Tyler and Tucker.

From the family ranch, to the c-suite, to council chambers, Cathy has tackled the leadership challenges every community and business must navigate - growth, fiscal uncertainty, leadership changes, competition, and forging meaningful community partnerships.

Cathy has 35 years of business leadership, consulting, and community service experience. She currently serves on Dublin City Council as Vice Mayor and has served on the Planning and Zoning Commission and as a member of Dublin City Schools Business Advisory Council.  

Beginning as a CPA at Texas Instruments, Cathy's broad business career includes senior consultant at Price Waterhouse and executive leadership roles at Symix Systems and OCLC.  Cathy has led strategic planning projects for public and private organizations across the U.S.  A published author, she served as adjunct marketing lecturer at The Ohio State University.  

Cathy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. 

Raised on a ranch in Montana, Cathy met Brooklyn-born Michael at college and together they have lived in Ohio for 30 years. Their favorite pastimes are traveling our amazing planet with their adult children or discovering a new bike trail along the great Ohio rails-to-trails pathways.
